For the first time since its founding, Stellantis has made an official priority ranking among its brands. This step, which had been avoided for a long time, became official with the group’s new “FaSTLAne 2030” strategy plan.
According to the new restructuring, Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep and Ram Trucks will now be the group’s global flagship brands.
Company management emphasized that these four brands have the highest potential in terms of volume and profitability. New technologies and global projects will be used primarily in these brands. Together with the Pro One commercial vehicle division, 70 percent of the group’s investments will be directed to this core structure.
DS and Lancia Fall into the Background
Citroën, Opel, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler and Dodge were among the second group of brands in the new organizational structure.
These brands will be positioned on a regional scale and continue to benefit from joint technology programs.
However, the biggest change occurred on the side of DS Automobiles and Lancia. Both brands will now focus solely on their core markets.
While DS came under the management of Citroën again, Lancia came under the umbrella of Fiat. This decision was interpreted as the two brands’ goals of becoming global premium players were effectively shelved.
New Move Coming for Maserati
A new growth plan is being prepared for Maserati.
Stellantis announced that two new models will be added to the brand’s product range in the E segment. Maserati’s detailed road map is expected to be announced in Modena in December 2026.
50 New Models Coming to Europe
The group is preparing for a major product offensive in its European operations.
50 new models will be launched in Europe by 2030. 25 of these will consist of completely new vehicles. Thus, Stellantis aims to increase its market coverage in Europe by 25 percent.
Most of the new models will be positioned in the A, B and C segments, which are the most competitive areas in Europe.
Big Technology Move from Peugeot
Peugeot will introduce seven new models by 2030.
Among these, a multi-energy C-SUV model using the new STLA One platform stands out. The brand will also develop two fully electric and two low-consumption hybrid models.
A D segment shooting brake model using the Dongfeng Motor Corporation infrastructure will also be added to the Peugeot product range.
Legendary 2CV Returns
On the Citroën side, the most striking development was the return of the legendary 2CV.
The brand will introduce the new generation electric 2CV model, which will be priced below 15 thousand euros, within the scope of the “E-Car” project that will be released in 2028.
Citroën will also completely revamp its existing product range and launch three new models in Europe.
13 New Models from Fiat
Fiat, which has long been criticized for its limited model range, is also preparing for a major product offensive.
The brand will introduce 13 new models worldwide by 2030. Five of these will be developed for the European market.
Fiat’s new electric city car will be positioned next to the 500 model. In addition, three new models developed on the Smart Car platform will join the product range.
Among these models, the new B-SUV named Fiat Grizzly, which will share the technical infrastructure with Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera, stands out. The Fastback version of the model will also be released.
Fiat is also preparing to return to the C-SUV segment, Europe’s largest market, with a new family-oriented model.
