Stellantis is the Only Major Manufacturer to Increase Its Sales in the EU30 Market
Stellantis, one of the world’s largest mobility companies, registered 696 thousand 676 vehicles in the EU30 market in the first quarter of 2026, increasing its sales by 5 percent compared to the same period in 2025. While the company’s market share increased by 0.21 points to 17.5 percent, this rate was the highest quarterly market share recorded since the first quarter of 2024. While the increase in market share reached 0.73 points with the influence of Stellantis + Leapmotor International, the total market share increased to 18.1 percent.
Standing out as the only company among the top 10 manufacturers to increase its market share in the first quarter of the year, Stellantis recorded double-digit growth in major markets. Having demonstrated a strong performance in Germany with 15.2 percent, Stellantis achieved growth of 6.7 percent in Italy and 6.1 percent in Spain. In the first quarter of the year, Stellantis Pro One maintained its leading position in the European light commercial vehicle market with a 28.7 percent market share, while the company’s leadership in the hybrid car segment continued.

Stellantis, one of the world’s largest mobility companies that invests in all areas of mobility, announced its sales data in the European automobile market in the first quarter of the year. In this context, Stellantis managed to increase both vehicle registrations and market share in the European automobile market, which achieved a moderate growth of 3.7 percent in the first quarter of the year compared to 2025. Thus, Stellantis registered 696 thousand 676 vehicles in the first quarter of 2026, increasing its sales by 5 percent compared to the same period in 2025. While the company’s market share increased by 0.21 points to 17.5 percent, this rate was the highest quarterly market share recorded since the first quarter of 2024. While the increase in market share reached 0.73 points with the influence of Stellantis + Leapmotor International, the total market share increased to 18.1 percent.

Italy’s 5 best-selling models are from Stellantis!

Led by Antonio Filosa, Stellantis stood out as the only company among the top 10 manufacturers (OEMs) to increase its market share in the first quarter of the year. When looked at on a brand basis; FIAT (25.4 percent), Lancia (15.7 percent), Citroën (12.3 percent) and Opel / Vauxhall (10.5 percent) exhibited the strongest sales performances. Stellantis in major markets; While Germany, which recorded double-digit growth, showed a strong performance with 15.2 percent, Italy (6.7 percent) and Spain (6.1 percent) also showed strong growth. The results reached remarkable levels, especially in the Austrian (31.1 percent) and Polish (18 percent) markets. In the first quarter, Stellantis Pro One maintained its leading position in the European light commercial vehicle market with a 28.7 percent market share. On the other hand, Stellantis continues to lead the hybrid car segment with a 21.6 percent market share. Evaluating the company’s first quarter performance, Stellantis Extended Europe Operations Director Emanuele Cappellano said, “The first three months of 2026 have reinforced the recovery process that Stellantis started towards the end of last year. We continue to maintain our strong growth momentum thanks to our business transformation plan that centers customer needs and is supported by a balanced product range in terms of product, design and power transmission systems.”

Stellantis models can’t get enough of awards!

While Stellantis increased its sales by 6.7 percent in Italy, the top five best-selling models in the market consisted entirely of Stellantis brands. In Italy, Fiat Pandina ranked first, Jeep Avenger second, Fiat Grande Panda third, Citroën C3 fourth and Leapmotor T03 fifth. Increasing its market share in France to approximately 31 percent as of the first quarter, Stellantis confirmed its market leadership with 5 vehicles among the top 10 best-selling models. The company increased its sales in Germany in the first quarter by 15.2 percent compared to the same period last year and increased its market share by 1.2 points to 12.7 percent.

In the United Kingdom, Fiat Grande Panda was awarded the “Best Bargain” award within the scope of the Top Gear Electric Vehicle Awards 2026, standing out with its unique design and daily use practicality.
In France, Citroën’s newest concept vehicle, Citroën ELO, was selected as the “Concept Car of the Year” within the scope of Trophées de L’Argus 2026.
In Germany, the Abarth 500e won the “Best Mini Cars” award given by Auto motor und sport for the second time in a row, reaching its 10th award in total. In the same market, the new Opel Mokka GSE was selected as the “Best Small Car” within the scope of the Golden Steering Wheel 2025.
Throughout Europe, Fiat Grande Panda attracted attention by winning an award in the Design category within the scope of AUTOBEST CONQUEST Award 2026.
The new Citroën C3 Aircross was awarded the “User-Friendly Car of the Year 2026 in Europe” award by the AUTOBEST jury with its ease of use and practical approach.
