Anadolu Group company Anadolu Isuzu has taken an important strategic step in line with its vision of international growth and sustainable value creation. The company signed the share transfer agreement for the transfer of shares corresponding to 75.2% of the capital of Uzbekistan-based SamAuto, the leading manufacturer of the Central Asian commercial vehicle industry.
Türkiye’s well-established commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu signed the share transfer agreement for the purchase of 75.2% of SamAuto, which has been operating in Uzbekistan for many years in partnership with Japanese Isuzu and Itochu. The company is expected to pay a base sales price of US$ 80 million in exchange for the acquisition of its shares. Anadolu Isuzu, which stands out in the commercial vehicle industry with its 42 years of production experience, strong R&D competencies and wide product range, aims to expand its activities, increase its regional competitiveness and position SamAuto as the integrated production center of the region, thanks to this strategic investment.

Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan, In his evaluation of the acquisition process, he said: “This investment in the acquisition of the majority shares of SamAuto is a strategic milestone in Anadolu Isuzu’s global growth journey. With this initiative, which is Anadolu Group’s first overseas production step in the automotive industry, we are not only increasing our production capacity; we are bringing together our competencies in technology, digitalization and product development with a regional power center. In line with our regional leadership goal within the scope of Anadolu Group’s Vision 2035 strategy, Middle East “We aim to make modern transportation solutions more accessible in a wide geography covering Asia and to create a stronger production and innovation network on an international scale. This investment will enable us to represent Türkiye’s engineering and industrial power in the world even more strongly and proudly.”

Anadolu Isuzu, which exports its innovative products developed in its R&D center and produced in its own production facilities to more than 45 countries, continues its international growth journey with determination by expanding its export geography with strong steps every day. With this investment, Anadolu Isuzu is on its way to becoming a strategic integrated production center by operating in a wide geography. With this acquisition, it is planned to add some models produced in SamAuto facilities to Anadolu Isuzu’s product range and some models of Anadolu Isuzu will also be produced in SamAuto factory.
