Face to face with the decidedly better VCARB03 Day-2 The Red Bull-Ford power unit clocked up the first km of its sporting life in Imola on the occasion of the filming day supported by Racing Bulls. The team that divides its time between Faenza and Bicester was on track for two days, although the first was to say the least forgettable given that Arvid Lindblad lost control of the car and ended up in the sand at the Variante Villeneuve. The conditions were prohibitive to say the least in terms of temperatures, but the objective of the junior Red Bull team was to verify that everything was working in view of the Barcelona tests and the team led on the track by Alan Permane got the answers they were looking for. Liam Lawson put together around thirty laps yesterday and no problems were reported with the power unit.
