Prometeon Tire Group, the world’s only tire company focused on industrial and commercial tires, is the leader of Dakar champion Martin Macík Jr. announced that it has renewed its business partnership with and that this partnership will continue in the 2026-2028 period.
The extension of the cooperation is a continuation of the Czech pilot’s victory in the 2025 Dakar Rally truck category with S02 Rally tires developed and produced in Prometeon’s Türkiye Kocaeli factory; Prometeon will participate in the 2026 Dakar Rally together with Macik’s MM Technology Team. This development once again demonstrates the company’s commitment to motor sports and its aim to test its technologies in the most challenging conditions.
More than six trucks that will compete in the 2026 Dakar Rally will be equipped with Prometeon Serie 02 Rally tires. These will include the MM Technology EVO4 “Joseph”, the Czech manufacturer’s newest model and the factory truck owned by Martin Macík Jr.’s team.
The Prometeon Serie 02 Rally series is designed to overcome extremely challenging terrain conditions and, thanks to its features, is preparing to play a key role in the upcoming new edition of the Dakar Rally. The experience gained in such extreme scenarios allows Prometeon to further develop its tires in terms of durability, reliability and safety – elements that are vital both in the competitive environment and in the daily operations of professional fleets.
