“Petlas, the leading brand of the Turkish tire industry, once again showed its strong support for motor sports with the ‘TOSFED Searching for its Star’ project, which was successfully completed for the 7th time this year. The final races of TOSFED Searching for its Star, which aims to introduce young people to the world of racing and was held for the 7th time this year, were held at TOSFED Gulf Race Track. This year, 10 male and 5 female candidates were determined at the end of the eliminations, which took place in two separate phases with the participation of 597 young drivers. They competed in 3 separate races in different formats on 28-29 November 2025.

In this context, Petlas expanded its cooperation with the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) with new projects, and in the final of the 7th social responsibility project “TOSFED is Looking for its Star”, all vehicles competed with Petlas’ new generation performance tire Prestige Sport.

597 young drivers participated!
This year, 597 young pilot candidates participated in the project, the final races of which were held at TOSFED Gulf Race Track. At the end of the eliminations, which took place in two phases, 36 male and 14 female participants made it to the finals. 10 male and 5 female candidates, determined at the end of the eliminations, competed in 3 separate races in different formats on 28-29 November 2025. Finalists who took to the track in the races; They were ranked according to fastest lap times in the first stage, and total lap times in the second stage. In the third stage, they fought fiercely to gain superiority over each other with the mass start. At the end of all three races held over the weekend, Hüseyin Melih Bilgin became the winner of 2025 “TOSFED Searching for its Star”, while Berkay Talay came second and Faruk Emre Arslan came third. In the women’s class, Selen Aktaşgil was the fastest, while Sena Karataş ranked second and Lara Su Kement ranked third.
Assertive braking performance even on wet surfaces!
