Türkiye’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Otokar will exhibit its innovative solutions in electric vehicles at the EV Charge Show 2025, which will continue at Istanbul Expo Center between 12-14 November. The company will introduce the e-CENTRO, which represents the future of urban transportation, and the e-ATLAS, which ushers in a new era in logistics, at the fair.
Otokar, one of the Koç Group companies, took its place at the EV Charge Show 2025, which started today and was held at Istanbul Expo Center between 12-14 November. Türkiye’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer will showcase its competence in electric vehicle technologies and its vision of sustainable mobility.
This year, 125 brands and nearly 20 thousand visitors from 6 countries are expected to participate in the EV Charge Show, which is held for the fourth time with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey and is the global meeting point of the electric vehicle charging ecosystem. Otokar took its place at the three-day fair with its innovative e-CENTRO and e-ATLAS models.
QUIET AND ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY: e-CENTRO
The 6.6-meter-long e-CENTRO is designed for environmentally friendly, quiet and highly efficient transportation in historical cities, touristic areas and zero-emission regions. With its ideal dimensions, e-Centro has a unique maneuverability even in narrow streets. Its electric motor with 140 kW maximum engine power and 1200 Nm maximum torque provides easy driving even in the difficult and steep road conditions of the city. e-Centro charges Li-ion NMC batteries in a fast time of 1.5 hours. Offering a range of nearly 200 km on a single charge, the vehicle provides 25 percent energy recovery from braking and slowing down in city traffic, thanks to its regenerative braking feature. This feature allows the vehicle to serve longer. With its low-floor body design that allows step-free entry and its disabled ramp, e-Centro offers comfortable transportation for everyone.
THE QUIET AND ZERO-EMISSION HERO OF THE LOGISTICS INDUSTRY
Inspired by Atlas, the mighty hero in mythology who carries the sky on his shoulders, the electric member of Otokar ATLAS also meets with visitors. Being the first light tonnage truck exported from Türkiye to Europe, e-ATLAS adapts to every service with its flexible structure. E-ATLAS, which eases the burden of its users with its resistance to harsh conditions and high performance, offers zero emissions, quiet driving, comfort and safety together. E-ATLAS, which can easily maneuver in narrow streets with its compact dimensions suitable for urban use, offers a range of 220 kilometers on a full charge with its 160 kW engine. e-ATLAS, which does not compromise on comfort with its spacious driver’s cabin and high-performance air conditioning, provides a high level of safety with safety technologies such as AEBS and LDWS and advanced auxiliary braking systems. The vehicle also includes modern features such as Cruise Control and digital instrument panel.
