New sponsor for Mercedes The new multi-year sponsorship agreement between Mercedes and Microsoft is official, a collaboration that will bring 60 million dollars a year into Mercedes’ coffers. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff commented on this partnership: “Our sport is driven by those at the forefront of innovation, we are delighted to partner with Microsoft, one of the world’s leading technology leaders, whose name is synonymous with breakthrough innovation. This partnership also reflects our commitment to staying at the cutting edge of performance and progress. By placing Microsoft technology at the heart of how we operate as a team, we will create faster insights, smarter collaboration and new ways of working as we look to the next generation of F1.”
