Ready for Sakhir We are now just a few days away from the start of the pre-season tests in Bahrain, the second ‘collective’ opportunity for the teams to be able to field their new single-seaters on the track after the shakedown tests which took place at the end of January in Barcelona. The first team to announce how it will line up in the first of two three-day sessions – scheduled for February 11-13 – was Haas. The American team had done well in Spain by completing 391 laps in total, the third highest number of the entire grid behind only Mercedes and Ferrari. The team directed by Ayao Komatsu will debut on Wednesday by fielding Esteban Ocon for the whole day, who will also close the proceedings on Friday afternoon. On Thursday all day and on Friday morning it will be Oliver Bearman’s turn to take the VF-26 on track.
