German automobile manufacturer Opel added a new one to its award collection with its recently introduced high-performance electric vehicle Mokka GSE. The new Mokka GSE won the “2025 Golden Steering Wheel Award”, known as the “Oscar” of the automobile industry, organized by BILD am SONNTAG in cooperation with AUTO BILD. Being at the top of the “Best Small Car” category, Mokka GSE brings the rally feeling to the roads with its 281 horsepower performance. At the 49th “Golden Steering Wheel Awards” this year, the brand with the Blitz emblem was deemed worthy of this prestigious award for the 22nd time with Mokka GSE.
Combining superior driving pleasure with German quality, Opel continues to attract attention with its new generation models. The brand, which stands out with its sporty driving character in automotive history, continues to produce cars that preserve these sportsman genes in the electric age. The new fast Opel electric car, which has started to take orders in Europe and will come to Türkiye in February 2026, has crowned its success with a worldwide award. Opel Mokka GSE left its strong competitors behind and became the winner of the “Best Small Car” category at the “2025 Golden Steering Wheel” awards.
