UK. The new Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake has won ‘Best Estate’ in the 2026 TopGear.com EV Awards. As the first electric Mercedes-Benz model available as an estate, the CLA Shooting Brake combines the elegance, sportiness and intelligence of the CLA Saloon with more space for passengers and luggage.
“When the car that has already won Saloon of the Year in the ‘main’ TG Awards becomes available as an estate… we’re in. Yes, you sacrifice a few miles of range, but the CLA is so well endowed in that department you won’t notice the difference. What you gain is loads more boot space and the deep satisfaction that you’ve chosen the right one.”

The CLA Shooting Brake is identical to the CLA Saloon up to the B-pillar. The unique design from the B-pillar backwards allows for up to 1,290 litres of luggage space with the rear seats folded. Electric models have an additional 101 litres of luggage capacity in the ‘frunk’.
With the groundbreaking MB.OS operating system and next-generation MBUX powered by AI, the CLA and CLA Shooting Brake deliver an effortless, intuitive driving experience that gives customers a true “Welcome home.” feeling.
Like the Saloon, the CLA Shooting Brake is available with electric or hybrid drivetrains. The electric model can travel up to 469 miles[1] between charges. Thanks to its 800 volt electrical system the CLA can charge at up to 320kW – meaning a ten to 80 percent charge in the CLA 250+ or CLA 350 4MATIC could take just 22 minutes[2].
The CLA Shooting Brake is available to order now from the Mercedes-Benz Online Showroom, or from a Mercedes-Benz Agent. Prices start at £40,105[3] for the CLA 200 Shooting Brake in Sport specification.
