Maruti Suzuki joins AI and battery recycling initiatives

Maruti Suzuki has onboarded five startups through the fifth batch of its incubation programme, organized in partnership with the startup support center of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. MiniMines, Easework AI, Sarvam AI, Siftly and CodeMate AI will develop solutions in battery recycling, purchasing automation, customer engagement and software development for the Indian automaker. Four out of five choices are domestic artificial intelligence companies. Easework AI will automate purchasing workflows for indirect consumables using agent AI; Sarvam AI will deploy multilingual generative AI agents across customer touchpoints; Siftly will apply generative AI to brand visibility; CodeMate AI will accelerate the development of internal software applications.
