MAN impressed with its sustainable mobility solutions and innovative technologies at Busworld Europe 2025, the world’s largest international bus fair. MAN, the first European manufacturer to offer a fully electric bus with its new Lion’s Coach E model, won the “Sustainable Bus of the Year 2026” award with this impressive model. MAN, which was deemed worthy of this prestigious award for the third consecutive time in the urban, intercity and finally bus categories, also held the world premiere of its fully electric travel bus, MAN Lion’s Coach 14 E, at the fair.
MAN Truck & Bus introduced the next phase of its zero emissions strategy at Busworld Europe 25, the world’s largest international bus trade fair, held in Brussels from 4–9 October 2025. MAN, the brand that produces Europe’s first fully electric travel bus, held the world premiere of the Lion’s Coach E model at the fair.
The MAN stand attracted great attention with its electric models exhibited in the urban, intercity and minibus segments, as well as the Lion’s Coach E, which represents the new milestone of the zero emission strategy. At the fair, MAN presented a comprehensive ecosystem in sustainable transportation with its own production of new generation NMC battery packs, EfficientHybrid technology and digital service solutions. Visitors also had the opportunity to closely examine four innovative models of MAN and NEOPLAN brands, state-of-the-art products such as MAN BatteryPack and comprehensive digital services.
It is planned to start mass production in Ankara in 2026
Lion’s Coach 14 E, which had its world premiere in Brussels, is the first battery-electric travel bus developed by a large-scale manufacturer in Europe. This fully electric bus uses the proven drive technology and innovative NMC battery packs used in MAN’s series-production eTruck model. Offering a range of up to 650 kilometers with a battery capacity ranging from 320 to 480 kWh, Lion’s Coah E strengthens MAN’s vision for zero emission targets.
