Renault, Dacia and Alpine MAİS, which has achieved significant success with its brands throughout the year, completed the year 2025, when the automotive industry broke a record, at the top with its users’ most preferred brands. The industry reached 1,368,400 units in total sales in 2025, breaking a record as the highest sales year of all time. In this record year, Renault was the leader as the best-selling brand in both the total market and the automobile market, with 144,331 sales units and 10.5% market share in the total market, as well as 131,764 sales units and 12.1% market share in the automobile market. Renault also managed to reach the highest sales figure ever in the history of Türkiye.
Renault Clio and Renault Megane Sedan were the most preferred models of users in 2025. Renault Clio reached the top as Türkiye’s best-selling car in 2025 with a sales figure of 51,717 units. Renault Megane Sedan ranked second, right behind Clio, with sales of 48,099 units. These two domestic models of Renault stood out by far with a total share of 9.2% in sales in the automobile market.
Renault’s sales successes, both brand and model-based, had a significant impact on the record reached by the industry in 2025.
Leadership in the SUV Segment
Dacia Sandero Stepway, one of the powerful and assertive models of the B-SUV segment, reached 23,699 sales and closed 2025 at the top of the B-SUV segment. Sandero Stepway also ranked second in the total B segment after Renault Clio with this sales figure.
Renault Duster, which went on sale with its new versions in November and reached sales of approximately 8 thousand units in the last 2 months of the year, stood out in the last quarter as the best-selling SUV in December. Renault also became the best-selling brand in the C-SUV segment in December with its strong SUV product range, with its Renault Duster and Austral models.

Expanding Product Range
While Renault expanded its product range in 2025, it also achieved significant success in the SUV segment. With the facelifted Austral, Rafale Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4X4 300 HP, and the New Renault Duster, which was produced and offered for sale in three different versions at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories during the year, it both strengthened its SUV range and reached significant sales figures. MAİS also took firm steps forward in the transition to electrification with its new hybrid models. The new Renault Duster Full Hybrid E-Tech is positioned as one of the most striking models, especially in this transition. In addition, Renault Group’s brand new 100% electric models also attracted attention in 2025. The 100% electric Renault 5 and Alpine A290 models, which MAİS added to its product range and offered for sale in 2025, were among the models that attracted the attention of users and stood out. These iconic models, both of which were selected as the “Car of the Year 2025 in Europe”, attracted great interest from users from the first day they were put on sale. Coming from the past to the present and coming to life in a brand new style, Renault 5 meets users with its colorful and iconic world; Alpine A290, which brings many years of motor sports experience and spirit from the tracks to the streets, offers users an exciting experience.
More than 20 Awards to MAİS in 2025
MAİS’s successes are not limited to sales figures and successful strategies in its product range. . At the ODMD Sales and Communication Awards 2025 Gladiators organized by the Automotive Journalists and Mobility Association (ODMD), Renault was awarded as the “Best Selling Automobile Brand of the Year” and “Best Selling Automobile and Light Commercial Vehicle Brand of the Year”. MAİS also became the first and only brand to be selected as the “Press Launch of the Year” for the 3rd time in a row by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) with its “Leave It Behind” launch for the New Renault Duster in 2025. In addition, MAİS was deemed worthy of more than 20 awards for the different communication activities it carried out in 2025. In addition to the 360-degree communication activities carried out for Renault 5, the Renault Rafale and Renault Duster launches in 2024 continued to collect awards in 2025 with the Renault X Haydarpaşa 3D Mapping Show and Premiumization Plan. Thus, MAİS reinforced its success in different fields with more than 20 awards.
MAİS is Ready for 2026
MAİS, which closed the year 2025 with significant success and sales leadership, is making an effective start to the year by making its product range even stronger with the new models it will offer for sale in 2026. MAİS, which will make a name for itself throughout the year with its new models to be produced locally at Oyak Renault Automobile Factories, will make an ambitious start with the sixth generation New Renault Clio in the first quarter of 2026. Renault Boreal, which will also be produced locally, will be among the most powerful and most important models of 2026. The facelifted Megane E-Tech and Scenic will also be offered for sale in Türkiye as Renault’s new electric models. In addition, Renault will return to the minibus market after a long time with the minibus version of Renault Master, which was selected as the “Van of the Year 2025 in Europe”.
Dacia’s product range will also be introduced to users in 2026. Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger models will be offered to users completely renewed in the first quarter of the year.
Alpine A390, the second model of Alpine’s fully electric Dream Garage series, will be one of the models that MAİS will introduce to users in 2026. Alpine’s new sporty fastback model A390 will bring the Alpine spirit and experience to more users.
