KGM Motors UK appoints Baden Powell as new dealer in North Lincolnshire

KGM Motors UK, formerly SsangYong, is delighted to welcome Baden Powell to its dealer network. Based at 101–103 Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 2JX, the family-run business brings more than 90-years of trusted experience to the KGM brand.

Founded in 1933 by engineer Baden Powell and his wife Dora, the business began as a bicycle shop before expanding into motor repairs in the 1940’s. During the Second World War, Baden applied his skills to military vehicles, developing the engineering expertise that would become the backbone of the business. By the post-war years, car ownership in Scunthorpe was on the rise, with the focus turning entirely to motor vehicles.

Today, the dealership is proud of its long-standing reputation for professionalism, reliability, and friendly customer service. Many of its loyal team members have been with the company for decades, with three for over 40-years, reflecting the family values and commitment that continue to drive the business forward.

With its appointment as a KGM dealer, Baden Powell will showcase the complete model line-up, including the flagship 7-seater Rexton SUV, the award-winning Musso pick-up, the versatile Korando, compact Tivoli, and the all-new Torres HEV and Actyon HEV, as well as the bold fully electric Torres EVX.
