The all-electric PEUGEOT E-408 provided transport for guests attending the presentation of the BAFTA Fellowship to acclaimed producer Duncan Kenworthy OBE at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London.
As part of its long-term partnership with BAFTA, PEUGEOT provided transport for guests, including actor and comedian Tim McInnerny and BAFTA-winning film producer Hayder Hoozeer, to the BAFTA Fellowship presentation, which honoured Kenworthy for his outstanding contribution to British film and his commitment to supporting the next generation of screen talent.

Held on Friday 23 October 2026 and hosted by Kenworthy’s long-time collaborator Richard Curtis CBE, the ceremony recognised his exceptional career, spanning more than five decades. As BAFTA’s highest accolade, the Fellowship celebrates Kenworthy’s significant impact on British cinema, having produced some of the nation’s best-loved films, including Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Notting Hill (1999) and Love Actually (2003).
A multiple BAFTA Award-winner and OBE recipient for services to film, Kenworthy co-founded DNA with Andrew Macdonald, one of the UK’s leading independent production companies, whose films include Trainspotting (1996), 28 Days Later (2002), The Last King of Scotland (2006) and Civil War (2024).
BAFTA Fellows previously honoured for their work in film include Dame Donna Langley, Warwick Davis OBE, Samantha Morton OBE, Sir Ridley Scott, Dame Judi Dench, Martin Scorsese, Dame Maggie Smith, Steven Spielberg and more.
PEUGEOT also has its own place in Kenworthy’s cinematic history, with the brand featuring in two of his much-loved films. In Notting Hill (1999), a 1998 PEUGEOT 406 Estate GLX famously features in the film’s climactic race across London, as William Thacker (Hugh Grant) and his friends rush to the Savoy Hotel to stop Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) from leaving the country. Meanwhile, in Love Actually (2003), Jamie (Colin Firth) drives a 1997 PEUGEOT 306 Break to and from his cottage in France.
Steve Wass, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “As a brand immersed in the world of cinema, we are thrilled to support the award of BAFTA’s highest accolade to Duncan Kenworthy OBE and celebrate his remarkable contribution to British film. As a long-term partner of BAFTA, his role in supporting the next generation of screen talent resonates with our own commitment to championing creativity, innovation and excellence, and we were delighted to help create a memorable experience for guests attending this special occasion.”
The PEUGEOT E-408 returned as the official chauffeur vehicle for the evening, following its appearance at other BAFTA events, including the BAFTA Film, Games and Television Awards, and the BAFTA Cymru Awards earlier in the month.
Combining distinctive styling, advanced technology, premium features and electric driving pleasure, the E-408 brings together striking design and refined performance.
The model combines PEUGEOT’s characteristic three-claw LED lighting signature, while inside the innovative i-Cockpit combines a 10-inch HD touchscreen with a compact steering wheel and a row of five customisable i-Toggle shortcuts for intuitive control. Generous passenger space, premium FOCAL® hi-fi and heated and massaging seats* make the E-408 ideally suited to comfortable and stylish journeys.
