The gallery of the Mercedes W17 Today a filming day is scheduled at Silverstone Mercedes has published the first images of the W17, the car with which the Brackley team aims to return as a major protagonist with George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli after having struggled to shine in the last technical cycle which began in 2022. Today Mercedes should carry out a filming day at Silverstone in view of the first days of testing scheduled in Barcelona next week. Until February 2 (the day of the complete presentation of the 2026 team), however, Mercedes will not release any other official material. The words of Toto Wolff “Formula 1 will have a significant change in 2026 and we are ready for this adventure. The new regulations require innovation in every area of performance. Our work on the new car and the long-term development of the Power Unit and advanced sustainable fuels with Petronas reflect this approach. The publication of the first images of the W17 is simply a crucial step in this process, representing the collective and constant effort of our teams in Brixworth and Brackley. We will continue to put our best efforts into months to come.”
