Seasonal debut Approximately 24 hours after the presentation of the new Ferrari SF-26 to the world, we can already hear the roar of an F1 car on the Fiorano track. The home track of the Prancing Horse has in fact welcomed the shakedown of the Haas VF-26. The American team, linked to the Maranello team by a strong relationship of collaboration and dependence, announced on its social channels the inauguration of the track for the new single-seater which was driven on the track by the Englishman Ollie Bearman, who is at home in these parts given that it is a product of the Ferrari Driver Academy. Today for Haas was only a first taste to verify the complete functioning of the car, waiting to fly to Barcelona for the first collective tests of the season, scheduled from 26 to 30 January but in which each team will be able to run on the track for just three days. The VF‑26 from the team led by Ayao Komatsu was among the first cars to be revealed during the winter, but only via renderings. Today, however, was the first ‘real’ outing of the car which in 2026 will be taken to the track not only by the aforementioned Bearman, but also by the Frenchman Esteban Ocon. Thanks to the very cold track, Bearman was also the protagonist of a half-spin at low speed, after which he restarted without consequences.
