GWM ORA 5: New hybrid and electric crossover comes to Europe

Chinese manufacturer Great Wall Motors introduces its new crossover ORA 5 to the European market with its versatile engine option. The model will be available in both a hybrid version with a total range of up to 1,000 km and a fully electric version with a range of approximately 435 km. The vehicle was developed taking into account European requirements, including chassis tuning and road performance. In terms of dimensions, the ORA 5 surpasses the typical B-SUV segment: it has a length of 4,447 mm and a wheelbase of 2,720 mm, which means a more spacious cabin. The fully electric version offers 204 HP and a 58.3 kWh battery. The European launch of ORA 5 will begin in Italy, with an estimated starting price of around 25,000 Euros. This positions it as another strong competitor in the affordable crossover segment, where competition with European brands is intense.
