Cadillac, the new livery on the track immediately After the official presentation of the livery during the Super Bowl, Cadillac debuted its colors on the track during a filming day in Bahrain, where the teams will also carry out official pre-season tests (11-13 February, 18-20 February). For the US team, this is not the “absolute first” on the track – it had already made its debut in the Montmeló shakedown – but Sakhir’s day gives mileage and experience to a team that absolutely needs it and, from what filters through, is behind in the first hierarchies that emerged from Barcelona. Perez’s words Sergio Perez commented on today’s filming day: “The launch of our livery is a special moment for everyone involved, because it really highlights the level of effort put into pushing the limits, as we enter the sport for the first time. We now have a great opportunity to build on this momentum in the upcoming tests in Bahrain, as we continue to learn more about the car’s capabilities.” Bottas’ words “Going from unveiling our livery at the Super Bowl to putting it on track almost immediately afterwards is an impressive way to launch our first season,” added teammate Valtteri Bottas. “It makes it all very real and it’s exciting to see all the hard work come to life. The team did an incredible job designing the first Cadillac livery. Now we’re fully focused on maximizing every lap during pre-season testing to understand the package of the car and get on track in Melbourne. I can’t wait to race and get the support of the fans.”
