The Turbo R’s arrival in 1985 reignited Bentley’s reputation as a performance brand. With nearly 300 bhp from its turbocharged 6¾-liter V8 and sharpened suspension tuning, buyers waited months for delivery as word spread that Bentley was back.
Four decades later, the 2025 Flying Spur Speed tribute channels that same confidence. Its hybrid system pairs a V8 and electric motor for a combined 771 hp, pushing the four-door from 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds, less than half the time of the original.
