Common sense needed in Melbourne
The FIA has communicated that the first two curfew periods will not be taken into consideration to deal with logistical delays caused by the vicissitudes linked to the closure of airspace following the recent events attributable to the conflict involving much of the Middle East.
If some teams will work outside the permitted hours in the first two curfew periods they will not trigger the available ‘wild cards’ which if accumulated beyond what is allowed can lead to penalties.
