Anadolu Isuzu was once again rated “A” in CDP’s Climate Change and Water Security Programs…
Anadolu Isuzu maintained its place among the “Global Leaders” by being rated with an “A” score in both the “Climate Change” and “Water Security” categories by CDP, the world’s most reputable environmental reporting platform.
Anadolu Isuzu, which integrates sustainability into every stage of its products and services and business processes, succeeded in receiving an “A” grade in both programs for the second time in a row in CDP’s 2025 evaluations. Being included in the CDP A List reveals that the company is in the top 4% of global companies evaluated in terms of environmental transparency. This success shows that Anadolu Isuzu has made environmental responsibility one of the basic elements of its corporate approach and is moving determinedly towards the goal of a nature-positive future.
Taking concrete steps to combat the climate crisis
Within the scope of the CDP Climate Change Program, Anadolu Isuzu follows a data-based and long-term approach that reflects climate-related risks and opportunities into its corporate governance structure. The company calculates its greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standards, has them verified by third-party independent organizations, and regularly monitors its emission reduction performance. Thanks to its renewable energy investments, it meets a significant part of its energy needs from solar energy. Anadolu Isuzu systematically evaluates and manages regulatory, technological and market-related transition risks that arise during the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Holistic approach for sustainable management of water
Within the scope of the CDP Water Security Program, Anadolu Isuzu adopts a holistic approach that integrates physical water risks due to climate change and the opportunities arising from these risks into corporate risk management processes. While the company evaluates the possible effects of physical risks such as water stress and reduced access to water on operations, it analyzes water use and impacts in accordance with the ISO 14046 Water Footprint standard. In this context, Anadolu Isuzu both reduces risks and creates opportunities in terms of resource efficiency and business continuity with its practices aimed at increasing water efficiency and strengthening water-related operational durability. This approach increases the company’s resilience in the field of water security and contributes to its sustainability goals.
