Alpine A110 once again imposes itself on readers’ tastes. With 11.8% of the votes, the French sports car won first place in the Sports – Import category of the “Best Cars 2026” award, organized by the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport. A total of 94,911 readers and online users participated in the 50th edition of the competition, evaluating over 480 models divided into 13 categories. In this context, the A110 not only conquers the top of its category, but also places third in the overall sports car ranking. New award for Alpine A110 This new recognition enriches a particularly intense final production phase for the current generation of A110, culminating with the launch of the ultra-limited special edition A110 R Ultime, a sports car designed with true racing DNA. The project benefited from the contribution of an expert test driver and the collaboration with leading partners in motorsport, all elements which allowed the transfer of technical know-how and racing character into a version intended only for the most demanding collectors. Collectible examples The new A110 R Ultime is a true collector’s item: produced in only 110 examples, it includes 15 ultra-exclusive models called “La Bleue”, now all sold out. These examples stand out for the fusion of the brand’s two iconic blue shades, applied with a shade made by hand in the Dieppe factory, and for the blue leather interiors by Poltrona Frau and Sabelt, which enhance the many customization possibilities offered by the French company’s Atelier. All versions of the current A110 will continue to be produced in the Alpine Jean Rédélé factory until mid-2026. While the baton will be taken up by a new 100% electric generation, based on the APP platform.
