Alfa Romeo showed a strong participation with 50 classic models in the historic 1000 Miglia race, which was held for the 44th time this year. More than 400 classic cars from 33 countries compete in the race, which takes place on the most iconic routes of Italy.
One of the brand’s prominent models in the race was the 1956 production Alfa Romeo 1900 Super Sprint. The vehicle from Alfa Romeo’s Heritage collection participated in the event and represented the historical heritage of the brand.

The dynamic world premiere of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa model, of which only 10 units were produced and all sold, was also held at the event. The vehicle was introduced at the organization attended by Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili.
Within the scope of the race, members of the Italian music group Subsonica, which collaborates with Alfa Romeo, also took part in the steering of some vehicles, adding a different cultural dimension to the event.
Held between 1927–1957 as an original speed race, the 1000 Miglia continues today as a regularity race open to classic cars. Alfa Romeo is considered one of the strongest brands in the organization, with 11 victories in the race historically.
The brand continues to bring the past and present together on the same stage at 1000 Miglia, bringing together both its classic heritage and current performance models.
