Zeekr is now officially selling its electric cars in Germany. Zeekr, part of the Geely Group, is driving in with a clear, strategic focus on the massive German company car sector. Considering that Commercial customers account for almost two-thirds of all new vehicle registrations in Germany, this focus makes a lot of sense. For companies looking to switch their fleets to EVs, Zeekr promises an option that checks the boxes for range, charging speed, and reliable everyday use.

Zeekr brings three key models to the German market: the Zeekr X crossover, the Zeekr 7X SUV, and the Zeekr 001 shooting brake. Orders for all three have been open since December 1st, with the first deliveries starting in January. Pricing starts at $44,510 for the Zeekr X, $64,420 for the Zeekr 7X, and $70,280 for the Zeekr 001.

Zeekr has decided to avoid the traditional, complicated, and expensive options lists, and every vehicle comes fully equipped with every extra. Both the Zeekr 7X and Zeekr 001 Privilege models come standard with air suspension, a heat pump, massage seats, Matrix LED headlights, and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems. The important part for business users is that all models qualify for the favorable 0.25 percent company car tax rate.

The largest model, the Zeekr 001, measures 16.24 ft long, 6.53 ft wide, and 5.12 ft high, and is built on a 9.81 ft wheelbase. Its performance-focused All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) version delivers 400 kW (544 horsepower) and can jump from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds.

This model uses a 100 kWh battery, with a maximum direct-current (DC) fast-charging rate of 200 kW. Despite its high performance, it retains practicality with a generous luggage capacity of 19 ft³, expanding to 75.7 ft³ with the rear seats folded. It also has a useful Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, allowing the car to power external devices at up to 3.3 kW.

The other two electric cars in the lineup are the urban Zeekr X and the mid-sized Zeekr 7X SUV. The compact Zeekr X is 14.53 ft long, 6 ft wide, and 5.12 ft high, sitting on a 9.02 ft wheelbase. It comes in both Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel-Drive versions, with the RWD model using a 69 kWh battery. This RWD version delivers 200 kW (272 horsepower) and can achieve 0–62 mph in 5.6 seconds, offering a WLTP range of up to 273 miles.

Meanwhile, the Zeekr 7X is slightly larger at 15.81 ft long, 6.33 ft wide, and 5.45 ft high, with a 9.58 ft wheelbase. The 7X also has an available AWD version with a powerful dual-motor system that puts out 475 kW (646 horsepower) and 524 lb-ft of torque. The dual-motor version can hit 0–62 mph in just 3.8 seconds, making it a surprisingly fast choice for a family EV.

Zeekr is using a direct sales approach through a digital ordering system, though customers can still get personal help. This strategy is designed to streamline the buying process. Zeekr is building a nationwide service network of certified partners, starting with 40 service centers already available, with plans to grow that number to over 100 by the second quarter of 2026. Their service partner, global Automotive Service GmbH, gives Zeekr access to roughly 1,700 connected workshops, ensuring high spare parts availability and quality repairs from the start.

To back up their new lineup of electric cars, Zeekr offers a strong warranty program: the high-voltage battery gets an 8-year or 124,000 miles warranty. The vehicle itself comes standard with a 5-year/62,000 miles warranty, which extends to a Total of 10 years/124,000 miles if the car receives maintenance within the Zeekr service network. Test drives will be available nationwide through the service partners starting at the end of the year.

Zeekr’s debut comes at a perfect time, with a recent survey showing that 78 percent of fleet managers expect to add vehicles from Chinese premium manufacturers to their fleets soon. Nearly 60 percent of company car drivers plan to switch to an all-electric vehicle within the next two years.
