Eight simultaneous launches at Goodwood mark D group’s most ambitious push yet into European awareness Group D held eight vehicle launches at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 9 July 2026, with the Denza Z Coupe and Z Racing leading a showcase spanning the D, Denza and Yangwang models. The group occupied a 2,016 square meter stand in Goodwood’s First Look area and Supercar Paddock. The D Dolphin G DM-i Denza Z Coupe and Z Racing made their global debut at the event. Both use a triple engine configuration producing 1,604 PS and 1,240 N·m of torque, enabling a 0-62 mph time of 2.25 seconds in Coupe form. The Racing version produces 1,060kg of downforce at 257mph and recorded 1.96 seconds for the 0-62mph sprint on the Goodwood hill climb. The Z family was also the first vehicle to be displayed in the UK with the D’s FLASH Charging system; The company says this provides a 10% to 70% charge in five minutes. Other early models included the D Dolphin G DM-i, positioned as the only plug-in hybrid in the supermini segment with a claimed total range of 646 miles, and the D Shark pick-up, which demonstrated four-wheel drive capability on a dedicated off-road course. Denza BAO 5 makes its first European appearance alongside Shark. Denza BAO 5 Yangwang contributed three models, headlined by the U9 Xtreme hypercar. Producing over 3,000 PS, it holds the claimed production car top speed record of 308.3 mph, which was set in September 2025. Yangwang U7 sedan and U8L luxury SUV completed the brand’s existence.
