Škoda at Milan Design Week Combined Brand Experience with Art
Škoda participated in Milan Design Week, one of the most important design events in the world, with a strong brand experience this year. The special exhibition held at Palazzo del Senate offered visitors a different experience by combining the brand’s current design approach with art and innovation. In the installation signed by Spanish architect and artist Ricardo Orts, the fully electric compact SUV model Epiq, which was exhibited in a camouflaged form, was among the striking elements.

Epiq experience left its mark in Milan
The colorful and multi-layered fiction brought together the physical and digital world, reflecting Škoda’s “Modern Solid” design language in an interactive way. The creative concept, inspired by the theme of clay used in modeling, is in parallel with the brand’s global communication campaign. Visitors had the opportunity to explore Škoda’s design vision more closely with digital experience points, open session areas and various events in the exhibition area.
“Ooooh, that’s EpiQ!” The exhibition, designed with the motto, invited visitors to actively experience it. The installation, which was implemented in collaboration with Spanish architect and artist Ricardo Orts, attracted attention with soft forms and vibrant colors inspired by modeling clay. At the center of the exhibition, the new electric compact SUV model Epiq and its three-dimensional interpretation Epiq Sculpt, which were exhibited in camouflage, stood out. The model, which will make its world premiere in May, will be an important part of Škoda’s goal of making electric mobility more accessible.
A wide program from creative workshops to digital experiences was offered in the exhibition area, which offered visitors not only a visual but also a versatile experience. Participants designed their own bags, created artificial intelligence-supported avatars and had different taste experiences. The yoga sessions at the center of the exhibition added a different dimension to the event and offered visitors the opportunity to rest and rejuvenate. In the sessions held under the title of “Epiq Talks” within the scope of the exhibition, Škoda Auto Interior Design President Chan Park and Ricardo Orts came together and shared details about the creative process of the project.
