The first race of the 2026 Turkish Baja Championship, Baja Germanicia, was held by Kahramanlar Offroad Sports Club (KAROFF) in Kapıçam Nature Park, famous for its natural beauty, in Kahramanmaraş.
In the organization that continued throughout the day on the 230-kilometer-long track, the pilots struggled against difficult terrain conditions and gave the audience unforgettable moments.
At the end of Baja Germanicia, which was organized with the participation of 16 vehicles and 32 athletes with the contributions of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, Spor Toto, TRT Spor, Toymar and Continent Hotel, Erkan Sülün-Mert Tepe came first, Murat Altun-Emir Altun came second and Diren Üykü-Onur Sırımoğlu came third in the SSV category. In the automobile category, Mehmet Yılmaz-Ahmet Karakoyunlu won the first place, followed by Ali Kutay-Ahmet Tınkır in second place and Fatih Akbay-Halit Çakır in third place. The race, in which GE Rally Raid Team came first, ended with the award ceremony at the Continent Hotel.
2026 Turkish Baja Championship will continue with the second leg race to be organized by Antalya Offroad Sports Club on 16-17 May.
