At the INvolve London Role Model Gala, inspiring female leaders on a global scale were honored with their achievements and leadership visions, while the impact of women from different sectors in the business world was made visible. Heroes Role Model List – OPET Board Member Filiz Öztürk, who is among the top 5 most influential female managers globally, was also among the participants of the gala.

The 2025 INvolve London Role Model Gala, which honored leaders who strengthen the role of women in the business world and promote diversity, was held on Friday, March 20, at the Guildhall, the city’s historical venue. Among the names attending the gala, which brought together senior executives and role models from different sectors, was OPET Board Member Filiz Öztürk, who is in the top 5 in the “Top 100 Women Executives” list within the scope of Heroes Women Role Model List 2025.

Organized under the leadership of INvolve and in collaboration with YouTube, The 2025 INvolve London Role Model Gala aims to make visible the achievements of inspiring female leaders on a global scale. In the “Top 100 Women Executives” list, senior female executives working in different sectors are evaluated according to the impact they create in the field of diversity, equality and inclusion. In this context, Filiz Öztürk, who is among the “Top 5 Women Executives”, stands out as a name that has undertaken the leadership of the Women’s Power and Equal Makes a Difference projects that changed the face of the fuel industry in Türkiye. Regarding the subject, Öztürk said, “It was a great happiness and honor for me to be included in the Heroes Women Role Model List 2025, which includes women working for diversity and inclusion around the world with our work within the scope of our Women’s Power and If We Are Equal Projects. The source of this pride was not that my name was included in this prestigious list, but that the independent and strong stance of thousands of Turkish women towards life and the steps they took to get rid of the stereotypical roles assigned to them by society were visible and exemplified in the international arena. “Profession has no gender. “I would like to thank once again everyone who supports our work on gender equality and women’s employment on behalf of both our industry and our brand, on this path we set out 8 years ago.”

In the statement made by Involve, Filiz Öztürk said, “She has been a pioneer in gender equality in Türkiye’s fuel retail industry. She leads initiatives such as the Women’s Power Project, which increased women’s employment in fuel stations by 164 percent, and the “Equal Makes a Difference” program, implemented in partnership with UN Women, which implements inclusive practices throughout the organization. Öztürk, who pioneered training programs on gender equality, inspired other fuel brands to adopt inclusive recruitment practices, inspiring gender equality across the sector. “It has created a domino effect by reshaping its norms.”
