The new three-part docu-series Max Verstappen – New Ground is released today in the Netherlands on the Viaplay platform, which follows the four-time Formula 1 world champion in his ‘other sporting life’, that of manager of his racing team, Verstappen.com Racing. As well as following ‘manager’ Verstappen, the series also focuses on the work done by the four-time F1 world champion in transforming sim-racer Chris Lulham into a professional driver. “Viaplay and I have worked together for many years to show what motor racing is really about – commented Verstappen – not just the results, but also the work, dedication and passion behind it. ‘New Ground’ is about exploring new territory in the world of motorsports and learning and gaining experience along the way. It’s about the challenge and love of racing and I’m happy to share this journey with Viaplay viewers.” The three episodes will be released on February 10, 17 and 24 on Viaplay. However, the platform is currently only available in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
