First demonstration in Türkiye of the new Komatsu HX20, which is prepared to maximize efficiency and performance in underground mines At the MINEX – 11th International Mining, Natural Resources and Technologies Fair held in Fuarİzmir was carried out. As with all Komatsu products that meet business partners with Japanese quality, Komatsu PC210LC-11E0, which redefines efficiency standards in the 23-ton crawler excavator segment, also took its place at the fair.
A new truck for the underground mining industry: Komatsu HX20
Komatsu HX20 is designed to deliver superior performance in harsh underground conditions. Komatsu HX20, a reliable and durable mining truck for medium and large-scale mining operations, helps minimize maintenance and downtime while maximizing production. Providing Komatsu quality despite the harsh conditions of underground mines, Komatsu HX20 focuses on efficiency and productivity with its 20-ton carrying capacity and 209 kW powerful and environmentally friendly Cummins QSB6.7 engine. Komatsu HX20 is expected to be the new favorite of enterprises carrying out underground mining activities, thanks to its compact size, ability to move agilely in narrow galleries and the trouble-free structure of its proven technologies.
Displaying a compact structure with its 9,417 mm length, 2,200 mm width and 2,555 mm height when loaded, Komatsu HX20 can be ordered with 6 or 12.5 cubic meter tipper capacity options in addition to the standard dumper capacity of 10 cubic meters. With an operating weight of approximately 19 tons and a load capacity of 20 tons, Komatsu HX20 can reach a total loaded weight of 39 tons and can easily handle the most challenging, narrow and low underground mines.

With up to 20 percent lower fuel consumption thanks to its renewed hydraulic and engine design, Komatsu PC210LC-11E0 has redefined efficiency standards in the 23-ton crawler excavator segment. Komatsu PC210LC-11E0, thanks to its improved control valve and high-capacity pump, provides speed in combined movements in which the swing, boom, arm and bucket move simultaneously.
For the comfort and convenience of the operators, a cabin with a wide viewing angle, easy-to-use short levers integrated into the console, electric air suspension and heated seat equipment come into play. Komatsu PC210LC-11E0, one of the options with the lowest Adblue consumption in its class, automatically performs DPF regeneration during operation, allowing operators to continue their work uninterrupted. Komatsu PC210LC-11E0 can be used with the crusher as desired with its crusher installation and selectable crusher mode/attachment modes, thus offering convenience and high performance to the users.

Marubeni Distribution and Service, which added a new one to its value-added products in the mining sector with the arrival of Komatsu HX20 in Türkiye, also presented new underground trucks such as Komatsu HX30 and Komatsu HX45 to its business partners. Komatsu WX07, Komatsu WX11 and Komatsu WX15 underground loaders have been added to Komatsu’s new products.
