Lexus has unveiled the new LFA Concept, an innovative battery-powered sports car prototype. A project born from the vision of Toyota President, Akio Toyoda, also known as Master Driver Morizo: Toyoda firmly believes in the need to preserve and pass on automotive techniques and skills to future generations, thus creating a lasting legacy. The new Lexus LFA Concept therefore stands as a point of reference among electric sports cars, working in synergy with Toyota’s GR GT and GR GT3 models. The new Lexus LFA Concept In keeping with Toyota’s tradition of “Shikinen Sengu,” which promotes the transfer of knowledge from veterans to younger generations, the Lexus LFA Concept stands out for its commitment to incorporating advanced engineering techniques. The design is based on key elements such as a low center of gravity, low weight and high structural rigidity. Lexus has focused on a lightweight all-aluminium chassis and an optimal driving position, aimed at guaranteeing an unprecedented driving experience. Low center of gravity and low weight With its sleek, aerodynamic silhouette, the design draws inspiration from a celebration of the sculptural beauty of the original Lexus LFA. The designers worked closely with the GR development teams to transfer the winning technologies while ensuring a modern and lasting aesthetic. The intent is to create a new standard in the sports BEV sector, capable of fascinating with its performance and elegance. Electric power And obviously also power, although the specifications of this 100% electric two-seater have not yet been made official. The interior design was developed to maximize the feeling of connection between the car and the driver. Each element is designed to facilitate intuitive control. Final look at the dimensions: we are talking about 4,690 mm in length, 2,040 mm in width, 1,195 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,725 mm.
