LONDON, 29 JANUARY, 2026:Collecting Cars today launches the latest edition of Sealed Bids. The selection spans hypercars, motorsport legends and modern icons, led by a 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS, a one-of-two 1992 Audi S4 GTO in full Rothmans livery and joined by a 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO, Ferrari Classiche-certified 1972 Dino 246 GT, an ultra-rare 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, and even a striking, early Lamborghini Diablo finished in white over red.
These extraordinary machines span generations and continents, from legendary racing cars to modern hypercars, offering collectors a rare chance to secure truly iconic vehicles. They form the largest selection of Sealed Bids cars released in a single month since the format launched in Q3 2025. This Sealed Bids announcement follows a record-breaking year for Collecting Group: Collecting Cars achieved over $320 million (€275 million) in 2025, up more than 12% year-on-year, while sister brand Watch Collecting surpassed 6,000 watches sold, generating over $130 million (€115 million) in transaction value.
Collecting Cars has already pre-selected a number of these exceptional cars to appear at Rétromobile 2026, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to view them in person ahead of the sealed bidding window. On display is the 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS, a landmark hypercar powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 1,160hp. One of just 25 examples built, it was originally delivered to the Middle East before moving to Europe and being registered in the UK. Finished in Snow White paint with exposed carbon-fibre detailing, it perfectly balances extreme performance with genuine usability.
It is joined on the stand alongside the previously confirmed 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, a dramatic celebration of Porsche’s motorsport heritage, limited to just 77 examples worldwide. Car number 37, it features a bespoke 4.2-litre flat-six, full carbon-fibre bodywork and extreme 935-inspired aerodynamics, and remains in delivery-mileage condition, offering an uncompromising and immersive track experience.
Rounding off the Sealed Bids cars available to view at Rétromobile is the 1992 Lamborghini Diablo; a legendary 1990s supercar, combining dramatic styling with a glorious 5.7-litre V12 and rear-wheel drive. This early-production European-delivered car is reported to have had just one private owner and is finished in rare Bianco Impact over Rosso leather, giving it a stand-out specification.
Edward Lovett, Founder and CEO of Collecting Cars, said: “Sealed Bids brings together the very best of what Collecting Cars has to offer. From hypercars to pure-breed racers and certified best-of-the-best road cars, there’s something here for every collector, anywhere in the world. This edition is a celebration of performance, design and history – a chance to own vehicles that define their eras.
“Looking back at 2025, Sealed Bids established itself as a proven and trusted way to sell exceptional cars globally. Its success has given collectors worldwide the reassurance that this private, secure format is a reliable route to acquire some of the rarest and most desirable vehicles on the market.”
In addition to those at Rétromobile, Collecting Cars will also offer a 1992 Audi S4 GTO, one of just two factory-built cars for South Africa’s WesBank Modified Championship, famously driven to victory by Hans-Joachim Stuck and later helping Chris Aberdein secure the manufacturer title for Audi. It combines a turbocharged five-cylinder IMSA GTO engine producing 720bhp with Quattro all-wheel drive and is presented in its period Rothmans livery.
This month’s drop is rounded off with two memorable road-going Ferraris. The 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is a beautifully preserved classic, featuring a matching-numbers 2.4-litre V6 engine and Ferrari Classiche certification; originally a UK-market car, it spent most of its life in Australia before returning in 2015, and remains in highly original condition with its complete book pack. Complementing it is the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO, a front-engined V12 supercar developed from the 599XX track car, producing 670PS through a six-speed paddle-shift gearbox. Delivered new to Switzerland and reportedly with a single private owner, it is finished in Grigio Silverstone with Nero interior and extensive carbon-fibre trim.
Sealed Bids continues Collecting Cars’ mission to bring rare and exceptional vehicles directly to collectors, combining a private, secure bidding process with unparalleled access to the world’s most coveted cars. The auction opens 29 January 2026, for seven days, finishing on 5 February 2026. More information can be found on the dedicated Sealed Bids website here: collectingcars.com/sealed-bids
