Suzuki has begun taking pre-orders in Australia for its first fully electric SUV, the e Vitara. The model is offered in two grades: Motion and Ultra.The entry-level Motion starts at 46,990 Australian dollars (US $33,819) during the pre-order period; once that ends, the price will climb to 49,990 AUD (US $35,978). This front-wheel-drive version packs a 49 kWh battery and delivers up to 344 km of range. The Ultra, meanwhile, is priced at 56,990 AUD (US $41,016) in the pre-order phase, later rising to 58,990 AUD (US $42,455). It comes with all-wheel drive, a 61 kWh battery, and a maximum range of 395 km.Standard features across both trims include automatic headlights, a rain sensor, 18-inch wheels, surround-view cameras, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. The Ultra adds a panoramic roof, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, and an Infinity sound system.The Suzuki e Vitara is classified as a 2026 model. It comes with an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty and a 5-year/100,000 km service plan.
