Hyundai aims to strengthen its position in Europe with five new models in 18 months, focusing on EVs and dealer support. Learn about sales trends and competition.
Hyundai is aiming to strengthen its position in Europe through product strategy and expanding its model lineup. Over the next 18 months, the company will introduce five new models focused on the B and C segments.Sales in Europe remained stable through 2025. Including Turkey and Eastern Europe, Hyundai sold approximately 603,000 vehicles. Its share of the private market reached 4.7%. In Germany, however, sales dipped by 3% to around 94,000 cars. The company notes that sales growth is not expected before 2027, despite new model launches in 2026. One reason for the current trend is a reduction in self-registrations, which had previously been higher.Hyundai also reports strong demand for electric vehicles and is working to meet CO2 emission reduction targets. The company views competition from Chinese brands as significant but not yet critical.Special attention is being paid to the dealer network. Hyundai emphasizes that dealers play a crucial role in retaining customers through service and after-sales support.
