While the number of electric vehicles in Türkiye reaches 400 thousand, the demand for home electric vehicle charging stations is increasing rapidly. “There has been an e-mobility revolution in the world in parallel with the renewable energy trend in recent years. Electric vehicles are at the center of e-mobility. Many major automobile manufacturers are making investments in the transition to a completely electric future by developing new product lines and transforming their existing production capacity. The electric vehicle market is also growing rapidly in our country. According to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), as of February 2026, the number of cars registered to traffic in Türkiye was determined as 17 million 523 thousand 423, while the number of electric cars was compared to last year. “It increased by 92 percent to 395 thousand 697. In addition to environmental concerns, we estimate that the interest in electric vehicles will increase further in the coming period.
