Jock Clear is with Sir Lewis. He has recently concluded his more than ten-year experience at Ferrari and is now preparing to comment on his first F1 World Championship as an external observer. The English engineer Jock Clear, who boasts a unique CV having worked closely with super champions such as Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, granted an interview to the CasinoHawks website commenting on the current situation of the 41-year-old Ferrari driver, who is starting his second season at Maranello after the disappointments of 2025. Lewis Hamilton like Michael Schumacher “I always remind people that when Michael Schumacher moved to Ferrari – says Jock Clear – it took five years before he won something. It doesn’t happen overnight! I know Lewis Hamilton had a really difficult time last year, having to face a very demanding challenge, with people saying ‘oh, what happened he would have buried Alex Albon’ he was going strong at the end of the year. I repeat, it’s not something that happens overnight.” According to Clear, therefore, the 41-year-old seven-time Formula 1 world champion is not yet ready to give up but is actually very busy trying to improve things at Ferrari: “I think part of Lewis’ frustration is probably due to the fact that he knows that F1 is like this, and that Ferrari is constantly under the spotlight. But he just needs time, he won’t give up just because 2025 was difficult. He predicted that it would be very complicated. But Lewis Hamilton will come back stronger and more determined this year, working on development and doing everything we can to bring this project to fruition.”
