Bentley’s history is full of landmark sedans that redefined the brand, and 2025 brings three of them back into the spotlight. To celebrate 60 years of the 1965 T Series, 40 years of the 1985 Turbo R, and 20 years of the first 2005 Continental Flying Spur, Bentley Mulliner has created three one-off Flying Spurs that capture the spirit of each original model while showcasing modern craftsmanship and performance. Each one connects the brand’s past to its present through design, materials, and technology.
All three classics belong to Bentley’s Heritage Collection, a 50-car fleet maintained in running condition at the company’s Crewe headquarters. For this anniversary, Mulliner’s bespoke team carefully reimagined each car’s colors, interior trims, and distinctive details for 2025, producing a trio that’s both reverent and unmistakably modern.
1965 T Series – the start of a new era

When the T Series debuted at the 1965 Paris Motor Show, it broke with Bentley tradition by introducing a monocoque body instead of the long-used separate chassis. Sleeker, more compact, and yet roomier inside, it set a new direction for the brand’s four-door design. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8, it delivered performance that matched its elegance, while its engineering innovations made for a smoother and quieter drive.

The 2025 Flying Spur Azure tribute brings that same understated sophistication into the modern age. The Azure’s hybrid powertrain delivers 671 hp, and its advanced chassis and wellness features redefine comfort for today’s grand touring world.
1985 Turbo R – Bentley’s rebirth in motion

The Turbo R’s arrival in 1985 reignited Bentley’s reputation as a performance brand. With nearly 300 bhp from its turbocharged 6¾-liter V8 and sharpened suspension tuning, buyers waited months for delivery as word spread that Bentley was back.

Four decades later, the 2025 Flying Spur Speed tribute channels that same confidence. Its hybrid system pairs a V8 and electric motor for a combined 771 hp, pushing the four-door from 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds, less than half the time of the original.
2005 Continental Flying Spur – redefining modern luxury

Launched in 2005, the Continental Flying Spur was the first Bentley of the Volkswagen era to combine four-door practicality with 200 mph capability. With its 6.0-liter W12 and all-wheel drive, it brought a new level of performance and refinement.

The 2025 Mulliner Flying Spur Speed tribute is both an homage and an evolution, , a reminder that Bentley’s most forward-looking models are always built on a rich and meticulously preserved past.
