The ‘first’ in Red Bull
Two-faced Friday for Isack Hadjarwho began his new adventure as a Red Bull driver in the first two free practice sessions of the Australian Grand Prix. The French-Algerian driver closed FP1 with a convincing fourth time, immediately behind teammate Max Verstappen, only to then fall to ninth position in FP2.
The difficulties in FP2
In the meeting with the media, Hadjar focused mainly on the problems encountered in the second free practice session, indicating what went wrong: “In FP1 everything went quite well, but then in FP2 I had some problems with the car – he explained – I had a little more difficulty with the machine balancing. We’ve made some changes, so let’s see what we’ve figured out.”
A problem that had consequences on the final ranking, but in view of the qualifying scheduled for tomorrow morning at 6:00, Hadjar remains confident: “I had to adapt to my braking points and it was quite a mess. It was predictable, but as long as we understand why and don’t make the same mistake again we’ll be fine. I’m optimistic“.
