<p>The 2027 Subaru Ascent is offered in Premium, Limited, Limited Bronze Edition, Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring trim levels. Built for confident performance, the 2027 Subaru Ascent is equipped with a 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine delivering 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque paired with a Lineartronic® CVT with an 8-speed manual mode and paddle shifters.<br />
Standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control, and up to 5,000 pounds of towing capability reinforce the versatility and capability of the Ascent.</p>
<p>The 2027 Subaru Ascent also adds new in-vehicle technologies designed to improve everyday convenience and passenger comfort. A new interior light OFF switch allows drivers to disable door-activated interior lighting with a single touch, preventing the lights from turning on when doors are opened or closed, and minimizing disruptions to sleeping passengers in the back seats.</p>
<p>Also new to the 2027 Subaru Ascent are USB Type-C charging ports, which were added alongside Type-A outlets to improve charging performance and device compatibility. The charging ports are located on the right rear quarter trim near the third-row seats and feature protective covers for added safety.</p>
<p>Building on its strong safety performance, the Subaru Ascent earned a 2026 <em>TOP SAFETY PICK+</em> rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and has received the IIHS <em>TOP SAFETY PICK</em> recognition for nine consecutive years. All 2027 Subaru Ascent trim levels are equipped with standard EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, including a Wide-Angle Mono Camera and Emergency Stop Assist, as well as Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Automatic Emergency Steering. It is designed with families in mind and is offered in both 7- or 8-passenger configurations, with features such as 19 cupholders, USB-A and USB-C ports across every row, raised roof rails, and a Power Rear Gate for easy loading when hands are full of groceries, gear, or luggage.</p>
<p>Every 2027 Subaru Ascent Premium is equipped with an 11.6-inch Subaru Multimedia Plus system with a high-resolution touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto&#x2122; compatibility. Bluetooth® hands-free connectivity, HD Radio®, and SiriusXM with 360L and Travel Link® (both with 4-month free trials) are also included, providing easy access to vehicle settings, climate controls, and X-MODE® drive modes. <p><strong>From Legendary Trucks to Lasting Impact</strong><br />
Toyota Alabama started with a single engine line powering the Tundra. Today, the plant assembles four and six-cylinder engines for seven of the nine Toyota vehicles assembled in North America, representing nearly half of the automaker’s engines assembled each year in the region.</p>

(PFS), headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, announced the successful closing of PFS’s first SEC-registered asset-backed securities (“ABS”) transaction, Porsche Innovative Lease Owner Trust 2026-1 (“PILOT 2026-1”) in the USA with a principal amount of $911 million dollars.</p>
<p>Porsche Financial Services, Inc. is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of German luxury car maker Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (“Porsche AG”).</p>
<p>The securities issued in the SEC-registered transaction received a ‘AAA’ rating from the rating agencies, and achieved competitive pricing, highlighting the strength of PFS’s lease portfolio. The transaction, divided into five tranches, including a floating rate tranche, was backed by a pool of auto lease contracts financing Porsche vehicles.</p>
<p>The transaction was led by BofA Securities and supported by BNP Paribas., CIBC Capital Markets, and Mizuho as joint book runners; and Barclays and US Bancorp as Co-Managers.</p>

<p>Three of Kia’s most popular models including Telluride (+18 percent); Carnival (+16 percent); and Sportage (+6 percent); set best-ever May sales records, with the second-generation Telluride also setting a best-ever any-month sales record and achieving five consecutive months of record-breaking sales. Kia’s hybrid models saw significant growth with Sportage Hybrid (+171 percent); Sorento Hybrid (+101 percent); and Carnival Hybrid (+32 percent); each achieving best-ever May sales records and Carnival Hybrid also setting its best-ever any-month sales record.</p>
<p>Overall, Kia’s hybrid models (+179 percent) and electrified models (+133 percent) delivered the highest monthly and best-ever May year-to-date sales totals in company history.</p>

When used correctly, car seats can reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71 percent for infants younger than one year old and 54 percent for children ages 1 to 4.</p>
<p>The event at Wilkins Hyundai brought certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) together with families for free car seat inspections, hands-on demonstrations, and personalized education. Technicians checked for proper installation, expiration dates, and manufacturer recalls, and provided replacement seats to families in need.</p>

<h6 data-start="1184" data-end="1360">Originally revealed at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the concept receives a wide range of mechanical and functional enhancements designed specifically for demanding terrain.</h6>
<h6 data-start="1362" data-end="1706">Among the most significant upgrades are redesigned front and rear bumpers to improve approach and departure angles, reinforced aluminium skid plates for underbody protection, revised suspension dampers and a bespoke exhaust system. The SUV also gains a 60mm suspension lift and larger tyres to increase ground clearance during off-road driving.</h6>
<h6 data-start="1708" data-end="1868">Practical overlanding additions include widened rock sliders, a swing-out full-size spare wheel carrier, an integrated rear air compressor and an 8,000lb winch.</h6>
<h6 data-start="1870" data-end="2141">Lighting technology forms a major part of the build, with the Passport fitted with upgraded fog lamps, roof-mounted light bars, side camp lights, ditch lights and rear chase lighting. All systems are controlled through a custom multi-zone lighting setup developed by HRC.</h6>
<h6 data-start="2143" data-end="2296">To reinforce its long-distance expedition credentials, the concept also features a low-profile roof rack with side canopy integration and a rooftop tent.</h6>
<h6 data-start="2298" data-end="2489">Inside, the cabin receives bespoke HRC blue Alcantara trim, exclusive branding, additional accessory mounting panels and an integrated refrigerator aimed at enhancing extended outdoor travel.</h6>

            Renault is preparing a significant update for the Scenic. The electric crossover, which fully transitioned from a minivan to an SUV format three years ago, got off to a decent start, but sales are now slipping. In Spain, only 152 units were registered in the first four months of 2026.For comparison, the Skoda Elroq sold 790 units in the same period, while the new electric Toyota C-HR recorded 1,217 registrations. Even the niche Alpine A290 was close behind with 146 cars, nearly matching the Scenic.Renault has already put the updated Scenic through road tests. The prototype is heavily camouflaged, so exterior details remain hidden, but a softer design is expected, echoing the brand’s latest concepts—the Embleme Concept and the R-Space Lab. The current Scenic has a sharper look, similar to the Captur, Symbioz, and Rafale, so the facelift could make it calmer and more appealing to a broader audience.The interior is also set for upgrades: new materials, improved perceived quality, and an updated multimedia system. For a model with a high price tag, this is critical—buyers in this segment now compare not just range but also interior, interface, equipment, and charging speed.Currently, the Scenic is offered in two versions. The Comfort Range produces 170 hp, comes with a 60 kWh battery, and offers up to 430 km of range. The Long Range variant packs 220 hp, an 87 kWh battery, and can travel up to 625 km.After the update, a version with an LFP battery is expected—it should be more affordable and help lower the entry price. Renault will also improve efficiency: the base version could approach 450 km on the WLTP cycle, while the long-range model might reach around 650 km. Charging should also be faster: the LFP version is projected to go from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. Currently, Renault is often criticized for capping charging at 150 kW.The main factor here isn’t competition from a specific model but price. In Spain, the Changan Deepal S05 starts at €36,690 before subsidies and has already racked up 805 registrations, while the Scenic Long Range costs €41,126 and offers less equipment.Renault isn’t updating the Scenic for the fun of it: the car needs to be cheaper, more efficient, and a bit more convincing in styling. A full 800V architecture won’t arrive until 2028, so until then, the Scenic will have to hold its own in the market with this facelift.</p>

            A new variant of the Lyriq, called the Lyriq Professional Vehicle, or more specifically the Lyriq Coachbuilder Funeral Hearse, takes the fully electric luxury crossover into a new specialized commercial vehicle segment.The hearse based on the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq will be offered only in a rear-wheel-drive configuration with equipment roughly matching the Luxury and Sport trims of the consumer Cadillac Lyriq.However, some features from the standard Lyriq won&#8217;t be available on the hearse. Notably, advanced driver-assistance and comfort systems like Super Cruise, active noise cancellation, blind-spot assist, rear cross-traffic emergency braking, and automatic braking in reverse are absent.Despite the removed tech features, the Lyriq hearse comes standard with the SkyGlass roof. For context, the SkyGlass roof is currently only available on higher trims of the regular model (optional on Premium Luxury, Premium Sport, Signature Luxury, and Signature Sport; standard on the Lyriq-V). The new Lyriq hearse also gets exclusive 20-inch aluminum wheels not offered on any other Lyriq variant, giving it a distinct visual identity within the lineup.Standard equipment, like on other Lyriq models, includes an 11.5 kW onboard AC charger.
